We thought we’d battle Tom Guilmette after a boring day of shooting in a less than desirable hotel room with a camera no where even close to a Phantom. Take that Tom :)
Next purchase, Phantom Flex!
This is a little concept we put together to raise awareness for Movember this year. Iconic moustaches have had an impact on most of us one way or another. Wether it be the funny “Groucho Glasses” you’ve tried on or Yosemite Sam you use to watch as a kid. Almost everyone should be able to relate to this video in some way.
Please share this video to create awareness and support prostate cancer research. I am privileged to not have anyone close to me be affected by prostate cancer. This video is dedicated to those who have been affected.

This provided a few nice laughs during a busy day -
Here’s the new demo reel for the new GoPro Hero2. Pretty awesome footage and looks like they’ve made quite a few improvements to it. The lens looks much clearer and the images are less grainy. When we get our new one in I’ll post some reviews of it.
Well it’s FINALLY here. GoPro has released an updated model of the HD Hero.. the HD Hero2. It’s been so long since the original Hero was released they were over due for an updated model.
They’ve beefed up the prosessor, push up the mega pixel, gave it a better lens and added many more features. It’s also great that you are able to change your field of view so it’s not always a super wide angle lens. I found the 170 degree lens good but sometimes you just don’t always need it that wide. Very cool that they made it shoot 11 frames a second and upped the sensitivity of the sensor so it does better in low light. Will be interesting to test the timelapse capabilities of it.
We have one on order to do some testing and will post a video review as soon as we get some play time with it.
Until then here’s the specs GoPro has on their site -
Professional 11MP Sensor
2x Faster Image Processor
2X Sharper Glass Lens
Professional Low Light Performance
Full 170º, Medium 127º, Narrow 90º FOV in 1080p and 720p Video
